Join us for two great Tribal SDstyle events in August
~*~
Show & Workshop with Kami Liddle!
First, we have a fantastic show lined up for you Friday, August 22 at our favorite place, Kava Lounge. The show will include our TSDS 3 instructors, friends of TSDS and headlining – the fabulous Kami!
Kava Lounge

San Diego, CA 92101
Door Opens: 7:30pm
Show Starts: 8:00pm

Next, we follow up the show with an amazing workshop Saturday, August 23. This workshop combines all that we love about Kami!
Location:
Dance Place San Diego
2650 Truxtun Road
San Diego, CA 92106
Workshop Fee:
Pre-register and save! $35 in advance through Monday, August 19
Door: $45
Seamless Dancing: Noon – 2:00pm
This class will begin with a brief warm-up and move on to drilling movements, but with a twist! A series of combinations will be introduced, focusing on creating smooth and continuous lines with the body, with a few pops and locks thrown in for fun. These combinations will be put together for a short choreography. Belly dance experience is highly recommended.
About Kami:
Kami’s style is what she calls a modern fusion of an ancient dance. Although she is primarily a tribal dancer, she pulls from the various styles of belly dance that she has studied, as well as modern, hip hop, jazz, and bhangra dance. Her goal is to always be a student of dance and to constantly expand her repertoire. Kami has performed and taught internationally and is currently touring with Bellydance Superstars.

2008 brings many dreams and goals for Tribal SDstyle. Our main goals are to raise enough funds to file for official 501c(3) status and continue to increase support for our chosen charitable organizations. This year our recipients represent our goals of continuing to support performing arts and humanitarian organizations. The 2008 recipients are Humanitarian Circus and Coronado School of the Arts.
Humanitarian Circus is an organization that travels to war-torn and impoverished areas to bring entertainment, arts and laughter to it's displaced children.
Coronado School of the Arts is a regional public arts conservatory program for grades 9 through 12. The program reaches out to talented high school students from San Diego County offering a nurturing environment focused on individual growth, opportunity and diversity. Tribal SDstyle is partnering with CoSA Foundation to present the 2008 Tribal SDstyle Festival.
